How to get Safari working with shockwave properly

For some reason I am stuck using IE or Camino when accessing an education site (elementk.com). It's an interactive site for learning to use software programs. When using IE or Camino shockwave loads and all is well. But with Safari, Mozilla or Firefox, shockwave (or Java?) tries to load (but the window stays blank and the shockwave logo never appears) and everything just hangs (no system freeze). I have installed the latest plug-ins and the latest Java. While I like Camino, I'd rather use Safari as it is visually more pleasing.

At work on my PC all of the above browsers work equally well at this site. Is there something more I can do as I prefer to use Safari or Firefox? I thought that maybe 10.3.3 might do it as there was a minor point increase to Safari-but there's no change. Thanks for any help.
