how to install garageband over a network?
I didn't find this by searching. Seems like it should have come up before.
We would like to install Garageband on a 600MHz Graphite iMac. This iMac does not have a DVD drive and Garageband is distributed on a DVD disk. Several other Macs on the network have DVD drives. Is there a way to install Garageband over the network using one of the other DVD drives?
I tried simply loading the DVD disk in one drive then accessing that over the network. If you double click on the install package icon the icon enlarges like it is going to execute then nothing happens after that.
Thanks.
