Apple has cancelled customer orders for D-Link's USB Bluetooth adaptor via the Apple Store and has notified customers that the part has been "delayed indefinitely," according to MacUser UK, which reports that customers were notified of the cancellation by email in mid-May. The device began shipping in April, but demand has outstripped availability.

It wouldn't be much of a problem though. The D-Link Bluetooth adapter is just a device to be used a preview for Bluetooth. Future Macs is bound to gt Bluetooth built-in, MWNY is a good time to introduce Macs with built-in Bluetooth.

And for the owners of Macs without a Bluetooth antenna and chip, it's bound that they will get the Bluetooth adapter from somewhere else.
