Final Cut Express capture methods...I'm dizzy

Okay. So we have Capture Now, Clip, and Project. Which do I use? Or better yet, which performs the function that's closest to that of iMovie's import.



I tried to use Project (that's what seemed most normal), but it claims I don't have a bin that has valid source material. (?)



I understand what Clip does.



"Now" seems like the most straightforward option, but it's treated like a last resort for old cameras in the User Manual.



Which do I use?

capture now is most like imovie IMO. make sure you adjust the capture now time limit in prefs first though.
