April 1 - BEWARE!!!

not that you'd necessarily pull these kinds of pranks, of course, *wink wink*...

there's already a thread on computer specific practical jokes,

though CARS publishing a special Painfully Serious Dell Rumours version was funny last April 1

so what kind of photo documentation of pranks can you come up with?

Note: drunken party guests made to look silly when passed out don't count

Office safe pranks only, please.

Yup, lot's of phoney announcements at Mac sites. Just thought you should take stories with a large grain of kosher salt.

Somebody get the sticks and marshmellows! I put my hand behind a dual G5 at chumpUSA yesterday---add another proc and maybe it should come with it's own rotisserie attachment!

This was a pretty good one...but it came out yesterday, which is kind of cheating.

In keeping with the tenor of this thread, it has been reported by a typically unreliable source that later today Apple, in an effort to expand its presence beyond the computer field and into the consumer area, will announce the introduction of a new G5 called the Combo. The Combo, as the name implies, will be a combination water-cooled quad G5 computer/espresso maker. The lineup will consist of three models, a 1-cup, 2-cup and top-of-the-line 4-cup. At this point price and bundled coffee have yet to be determined.
