How do I backup panther CDs?

Guys and Dames



How do I create a bootble panther Install CD backup disk image (with toast or other software) using my Panther CDs set?

I'm gona be traveling and want to take backup disk images on the PB HD in case something bad happens and I need to reinstall...

    Just do a cd copy.

    i think what he's saying is use disk utility to make a disk image, then burn it with disk utility, or finder, or whatever.



    i just use toast, and it seems to work

    Too bad I don't have toast, I'm trying to burn a disc of an image I have, but I don't know how to do it in the finder...

    I think you can just open Disk Utility and click 'burn image'.



    Edit: Open Disk Utility. Click 'Image' in the menu bar. Select 'burn'.

    disk utility (in applications / utilities folder)



    choose "image of .."



    the image format is "cd master" or .cdr



    then, burn the .cdr files wiht disk image.
