amazon's new search engine BS

A9 beta



supposedly powered by google



I did a search on this. I got the results for one my sites. I clicked more info, and what do i find? a page on amazon.com that lists my address and phone number. I am outraged they can get away with this. i wrote them a mail



if you have any domains, please write to them so they will stop this

    I suspect that this information is freely available and could be found by using the whois command.

    true, but you have to jump through a few hoops.

    you can remove your infoi found out. but i shouldn't have to do. i have lots of sites

    If you open up the Terminal and type: whois apple.com



    You don't have to jump through any hoops at all

    Yeah...that info has nothing to do with A9.com you can find it with a WHOIS query either from the Terminal, Network Utility, or any domain registrar's website. You can get that info for just about any .com .net or .org site ( I don't know about other domains)
