Given that:

This is an awesome game that is coming to Mac

and

This will be my 1942nd post,

I find it very fitting to start a topic about it...

What do you guys think? will you be buying it? Too little too late?

I doubt my G4 here will be capable of playing it well enough... but dammit, I'm gonna try (G4 733MHz, 1.2GB ram, 32MB card...)

Zo, come on, at the very least upgrade to a 64MB card.

Hopefully a demo will be available first. On a high end PC rig the graphics are good, nothing special. The animations are weak. For instance, when running with your BAR or Thompson (hard to tell which gun it is ), the barrel will go back and fouth in front of you like a metronome. Quite a hilarious effect for such a "realistic" game.

Try the demo first before sheeling out your dough.

I saw this game on a friend's PC a while ago, and while I don't usually buy games that often, Battlefield 1942 and Command and Conquer Generals are on the list of game purchases that need to be made soon.

Oh man I keep finding Generals wasting more of my time than it should.

I will probably get BF when it comes out. God bless Aspyr.
