Ordered a G5 today

Well, my boss told me that we had extra money in the IT budget and that if I wanted a new computer I had to order it this week.

What do you think I did? I hopped over to the Apple Store and placed an order for a Dual 2Ghz G5!!!!!

I begged my boss to let me wait a few more weeks in hopes of a revised G5 but he said no way.

    10-15 business days to ship... maybe you'll get lucky and have a revision in there. Might end up with an extra GHz or 2.

    I saw that too and was hoping...but who wouldn't be happy with a dual 2Ghz G5?

    I tried to talk my boss into getting me a 23" but he put his foot down.

    Today I just ordered, with work money, a 15" PowerBook with all the goodies. $3200. I'll get a G5 if they come out with some new ones before this pot o' money runs out in August. I'm hoping for a G5 iMac by then.
