in the past i've asked mods to make this a sticky. go to version tracker and search for software that rips music off the ipod. you'll find about 50 programs i bet. also, for future reference, go to ipodlounge for answers to all basic ipod questions.
I agree with iPodandiMac...we need either more stickeys, or a global FAQ...start with the sticky thread in GB and than add stuff from there, just the most frequently asked questions so when someone comes here and asks one of them, all we have to do is post a link, easy as pie.
