new product - "iRise" - pics and info found

ive been reading and hoping for products and checking these rumor pages for a while and have never contributed until today -



im dying to figure out what is going to be released tommorow so decided to check out which sites have info "hidden" to be released tommorow and came across a new product called "iRise"



it sits underneath the base of the new iMacs and is an expansion bay providing more USB and Firewire ports -

and being from canada, i figured were all not good at keeping secrets (i.e. time canada)

    XTreme? Wasn't that this obscure company that announced the 1.2gig super-duper G4 Mac about a year ago (which - what a surprise *g* - never actually surfaced)?

    That's them, and they have a booth at the Expo too. Actually, I think it's a good product, but not one from Apple.

    The fact that this is a real product, a cool product and people are just bashing the original poster.



    I happen to think it looks pretty cool and will serve a purpose to new iMac owners
