Skill Hotkeys in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction in OS X?

I recently installed Lord of Destructin on my Mac, and everythign works fine, except I can't seem to be able to hot key any of the skills for my characters. The F1 through F10 keys don't work to hot key the skills. Do they not work in Mac OS X, is there some to enable them, or do I have to press some other keys to get the hot keys for the Skills in Diablo II to work? Please let me know. Thanks.
