G4 Cube

Hey,



I'm thinking of jumping into the Apple world by getting a cheap cube and testing out what OS X is like. THe problem is I have a laptop but no external monitor. Can I still use the Cube through my laptop's screen or am I going to have to buy/steal a cheap montior from a friend? THanks people.

    I haven't heard of any laptop that could be used as an external monitor.



    I think you better get your hands on a CRT or LCD monitor somehow...

    I have the opposite problem I still have the 17" studio display (CRT) with damn ADC connector that I kept after I sold my cube. My powerbook cant interface the monitor unless I buy the ADC-to-DVI connector (which will never happen).
