ide hard drive to external what do i need to do?

At work, they are trashing some build-it-yourself servers in order to replace them with Dell servers. the execs told us we could keep anything we wanted from the servers, so i grabbed a 300gb ide drive. My computer, a g4 867 can only handle i think 137 gb of storage internally (some controller thing...) and I am wondering what is a good enclosure to buy for the drive. Is firewire better than USB 2?



any particular brand to avoid? all i need is an enclosure to make this an external 300 gb disk...
