I'm kind interested in some case lighting for my G5...are there any guides to doing this? Will I void my warranty? There was a MacAddict article about how to do it, but I can't find it online.
Pretty sure you'll void your warranty, but I have not seen any cool G5 case mods yet. I do remember the Clear with blue lighting Quicksilver case that was awesome though. I might do that to mine after I get my new computer.

most case mods of the g5 ive seen look really bad
it seems like the holes would be perfect but frankly
i would say dont bother
and you may need your warranty too
I'd love to see a chromium plated G5...
My buddy used to work there and he'd paint my guitar bodies on the side...chrome, purple metal flake....actual car paints and chromium....very cool.
But guitars don't have 7 fans in them either...maybe not a good idea...
