IDE card for blue and white g3
Hey y'all. I'm using a blue and white g3 for a server, and I want to do raid 1 with 2 200 gigabyte disks. Ideally I would do this in a hardware solution, but since performance is not crucial, software will be fine.
Anyway I have two questions:
[1] Does anyone know of a pci ide/sata card that does hardware raid 1 (and of course is os x compatible)?
[2] Even if that exists it will probably be too expensive. In that case, does anyone know of a budget pci ide/sata card with two controllers/channels? The cheapest I can find that claim os x compatibility are about $70.
