Entourage 2004 & Custom Sounds

From what little I've been able to find on the internet it seems that Entourage, the NEW version, is STILL unable to apply custom user-selected sounds to actions. This is stupid, even Apple's Mail.app does this straight out of the box.



Can anyone verify this?

    From what I've read on the web it does indeed seem that Microsoft did not address this part of the application - you're still forced to run an ungainly third-party script in the background and I'm too afraid of that solution since my hard drive went all crash-o-matic last year when I tried to run it.



    So, Apple's Mail app wins on this feature.



    I guess the MBU really were short-staffed and not worrying about fit/finish issues when they worked on this latest rev.
