Thinking of buying a dean guitar

I used to play guitar a long long time ago, and I thought I might start to play again, so I went to a local guitar shop, and saw this, which is in my price range.

Is this any good for a resuming guitar player, (I havn't played for 8 years), don't know much about guitars!



Also, I was wondering how good the guitar amps and effects are in GarageBand, as I don't have it. I couldn't find any audio demoes at Apple
