font book
i've managed to bugger up font book somehow. i don't know if it's because i put too many fonts in it or something. when i try to start it up it appears on the screen, but the little loading symbol just keeps spinning and nothing happens. strangely, it loads up ok if i'm installing a new font...
i'm thinking of getting extensis suitcase anyway. if i do, how would i go about removing font book, or making sure it doesn't continue cause trouble?

You don't have to remove it at all. To make sure it doesn't interfere with Suitcase, do the following. While no apps are running, take all fonts from ~/Library/Fonts/, launch FB and activate all fonts it finds. Then quit it and forget it.
