PowerMac G4 PCI Throughput
Hi All,
I'm looking into the newest Power Mac G4 specs, and I noticed that the PCI throughput supposedly runs at 215MBps because it does not use a PCI bridge. Unfortunately I could not really locate any in-depth technical information on this.
Can anybody provide me with some good detailed documentation as to why that can create 215MBps throughput?
I was actually expecting a faster throughput because of the 64-bit slots (266MBps?)
