New eMac Vs Old eMac Speakers

Just upgraded to a new 1.25 eMac from the original 700 model. Great machine all round but for one thing. What have they done to the speakers since the first model. The new speakers are terrible compared to my old eMac. The old ones we're truly amazing for built-in speakers. The new ones are 75% the volume, lack depth and worst of all interfere with the monitor at medium to high volumes.



Has anyone else found this, if so has anyone got any answers to the interference problem. I really don't want to have to use external speakers but it really is that bad.

    i had the same interference problem with my 1ghz emac. i find the emac speakers to be completely worthless and if anything their presence makes an otherwise great computer not so great. i used external speakers after being annoyed with the shielding issue
