USB Video Capture

Hey does anyone know how to take video from a digital camera that is pluged into my mac through USB. iMovie Does not accept it but there has to be some way to capture it.

    if youre talking about MPEGs that a sony cybershot records (for example), you simply drag the files of into whatever folder you want. Quicktime may not import those without quicktime pro though. in terms of capturing from a tape via usb, youre out of your mind.

    Image Capture will pull off any little mpegs or avis from almost every digicam I've seen, DV from a USB port though I haven't tried.

    Try Macam, its usually for Webcameras, but it might work.
