Application Switching!!

I was wondering if anyone in here would know how to switch out of an application, that doesnt want you to switch out of it. I am referring to simcity 4. I want to be able to stop for minute and do something else, without quiting, anyone know if that is posssible?

    i dont know if this works with sim city 4 but some applications that run in full screen mode allow you to command + tab to the finder, iirc quake3 arena does, but i guess you already tried that.

    I've never tried this, but if you press the Force Quit key combo (cmd-opt-esc) in a full-screen app, it might bring up the Dock along with the Force Quit box.



    Also, any app that uses Mac-standard save dialogs will emerge from full-screen mode when you save a document. I use that trick to switch out of Civ3, to change my iTunes playlist for example. Just hit Cancel on the Save box to return to the game.
