they did one in 2000 you know the one with all the dot coms? eheh it was the hal 9000 one with the red light all about 1984 and how macs didnt go crazy in 2001 hmm now that i think about it i think i have the year wrong.. oh well.

actually, they did it with the "HAL2000" ad a couple years ago, the humor of which was unfortunately lost on damn near everyone except the mac faithful...



i like the superbowl ad, but it's so damned expensive, and isn't really apple's target market (well, i assume as much).



btw, i think this should be in the general discussions thread.
