the superdrive question

apple said that most of the 15" imac's sold were sdrive models and thats why the 17" imac gets a sdrive.



fact is (heard it from apple dealers) that people bought the high end imac for the additional 100 mhz and not for the superdrive.



so is there anybody else who thinks the sdrive sucks becauso od poor cd, cdr and cdrw speed?



why is no possibility tho choose between combo and sdrive?

    i didn't buy mine for the extra 100 MHz...i bought mine for the superdrive...have made many dvd's...but many more cds...don't think it is horribly slow for burning cds...but then i just find other things to do while it is burning...like write posts here...g
