Rom Simm Slot??

What's the rom simm slot for on my 9600 powermac motherboard for? How come when I put a rom chip in there, it doesn't boot up?

    you might want to read this. I don't really know what you are expecting because you don't give most of the important information, but the ROM on the motherboard only provides the toolbox, it does not provide an OS. If your computer is not booting up, it is more likely that something else is missing.



    You really do need to give more information in your questions.
