.icc profile problem in panther
Could anyone help me out or suggest a way to get arround my dilema here..
THe problem is that i purchased a dual G5 which supports 2 monitors. I have 2 monitors connected to it. I recently had one of those monitors worked on a high end sony graphic one. The guy sugggested that I run a BNC cable instead of the regular cable. So I went out and bought a really good quality BNC cable. THe problem is that to enable the G5 to know what kind of monitor I have I cant have the BNC connected to it. I use the regular DB15 cable to get my sony profile, then I switch over to the BNC and everything is fine. Eveytime the G% is restarted I loose the profile, the mac only shows a standard VGZ monitor present.
Is there a way to move my custom .icc profiles and move them over so that even with the G5 showing a standard VGA monitor, I can scroll down the list and pick my ustom one?
Where are the panther standard .icc profiles stored?
thanks
