Move an XP VPC image too a whole hard drive?

Well I have an extra hard drive and was wondering if i could take my dynamic sized image and move its contents to a new drive. Is there a way to open my image in vpc and then say copy its whole contents to the new drive? or do i have to format it some how. I really just have access to my mac.
