"Mail" and "Textedit/Preview" wish list

1. Actually I do badly miss smart folders in mail.app. - coming soon



now the serious one with "TextEdit and/or Preview"

2. i'd like to see pdf creation on the fly.

example:

i constantly gather information from webpages (drag and drop OR copy and paste) into "TextEdit". Than i "print", in order to safe a pdf. I do want the option "save a pdf" in the save dialog at least , though.

OR

drag any content, - nonetheless what it is actually, - into "Preview" et voila, - pdf.

3. i want the possibility to assign labels to documents in the "save dialog",

i don't know if tiger provides that particular feature.

    Already there.



    In your web browser (on ANY app), hit 'Print', then, bottom left, 'Save to PDF'



    Done.

    This is smart I haven't printed from safari for a long time, so i've probably forgot that feature Funny anyway.
