HTML rendering of Forum pages

Surfing on the Dark Side (Wintel XP IE - da horror), why is it that the list of threads in each forum never scales to the size of my window, but appears to be fixed to some screen size of what, 1200px?



Rather annoying.



And sorry if this has been mentioned before.
