powermac graphics card questions

hi,



Is it posssible to put any graphics card into a powermac G5 using the agp interface. or do you need mac editions and is nvida better for mac or ati

    You need Mac edition, for bios reasons. Some PC card may be flashed, in order to be used in macs.



    The more powerful video card avalaible for the Mac is the geforce 6800 (not already shipping unfortunalely). The more powerful one shipping in retail is the ATI 9800 XT.
