power mac has a bad case of insomnia

I have a g4 867 single processor Power Mac. I recently installed Norton Antivirus, and i think since then, i haven't been able to get the computer to sleep.



I usually put it to sleep at night and restart it probably once a week or so.



I tell it to sleep, and the display goes to sleep, but the fans stay on and the lights (on both the cpu and my cinema display) never start pulsing...





any ideas?



i've disabled Antivirus, and still my computer stays loudly awake..

please help
