Powerbook G3 buffer battery

hi



the buffer battery of my G3 Powerbook ran out and I want to replace it. But I cant find it? Does anybody have a clue where it is located?

    It's been almost a year since I had one, but as I recall it's on the underside of the top portion of the case, just to the left or right of the trackpad. When you get the top portion of the case off you just look at the underside and you can't miss it. You can get one at pbparts.com, but it seems a hefty price to pay if you don't swap batteries out very often.

    No problem and hey, I just thought of something. If your PowerBook is a Walstreet style, (meaning the Apple logo on the inside your display is rainbow colored and not solid white) then you'll need a different battery then the one I linked above. I'm not finding one at pbparts.com so they might not have Wallstreet backup batteries in stock.

    Thanks, I think mine is a lombard though.



    I'll see tomorrow if I even find the battery, I searched for it today and couldnt find anything. Strange, that I missed it.
