OCR for Panther

Hello - Anyone got experience of a compatible Panther / OCR prog for the Canoscan N1220u (same shape as the LIDE 30)?

I used to use Omnipage Pro in OS9 (very good it was too), but I'm having difficulty in finding something compatible now. I only need a basic prog, unless a bells and whistles one is the only way. If so, I'll buy that.

Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Omnipage Pro X is still compatible.

    Readiris Pro gets a better rating and is a little cheaper. Haven't used it myself.

    Omnipage is pretty darn good.



    Beware---There is an open source OCR program out there that everyone and their dog seems to be bolting a front end on to.
