Can't seem to run fsck-y
I wanted to run disk check but after starting in single user mode, I get a line that ends in 'boot #'. I cant type anything in at this point.
Before that message it says:
Root device is mounted read-only. If you want to make modifications to files, run '/sbin/fsck-y' first and then /sbin/mount-uw/
Why cant I type in fsck-y (or fsck-yf)?
How do i fix this problem?
Thanks

nope, nothing. I wonder if it has anything to do with using a ADB keyboard with the griffin imate? Actually I wouldnt know what to type in at that point anyway, it isnt the usual command line.
I am using the latest version of panther with all the updates on a iMac G3400 DV.
Yeah, that'd do it. The driver for the adapter isn't up and running at that point, I bet, for some reason.
Go grab your original USB keyboard and try that.
