Is Jampack 1 the same jampack that was released when Garageband came out?
Or... did apple discontinue the previous jampack and split it into 3 different ones?
I believe JamPack 1 is the same as the old JamPack. JamPacks 2 and 3 are all new.
Now if I had the JamPacks I'd tell you more, but I don't use GarageBand enough to warrant paying $300 for a bunch more samples. Granted, if I had a bunch more samples perhaps I'd play with GarageBand more.
Hmmmm... If only I had $$$$ coming out of my ass. Someday!
I was in the Apple store downtown San Francisco yesterday and yes they are the same. They had both the old and newly labeled version on the shelf.
BTW- The apple store was packed. Lots of folks checking the web etc. I really think these stores do a good job getting people to take a look at the Mac.
