Phone app?
Is there an application that can use my built in modem to make standard phone calls to normal phones? Like, not VoIP, but actually using the modem?
I once attempted to dial up to the internet (back when I had dialup) while someone was on the line, and instead of hearing the dialing static and beeps, I heard the conversation. So I assume that this is possible.

If it offers basic functionality and doesn't kernel panic my system, it's cool with me. It's just a nuisance having to answer the phone (I don't have one in my cmputer room)
