2008 Elections+V-Tech+Apple

2008 elections are right around the corner, and with the problems and platform issues we are seeing now, here is an idea that has been on the back-burner of my mind lately:

With a powerful and reliable clustered system such as Virginia Tech's, Apple should figure out a way to incorporate its user interface into public elections for the 2008 voting year. Possibly involving a company such as Wacom, or not even, this could be a giant task that would get international recognition.

As reliable as the Mac OS is, this could be an incredible acheivement if done properly. Just keep me in mind...

Benefits of this:

? Reliablility

? Security

? On-line voting

? Possible Wireless incorporation

? Use Virginia Tech's awesome computer for something

? Give me a long-term contract job for consulting / marketing / advertising ( hopefully :s )

? Cost would be exponentially beneficial for each of the running candidates. Who in turn, could take credit for the reliablity, and inexpence to the public

? Many other benefits for Apple and its market share
