The new PB. To superdrive or not?

I'm considering buying a new 1GHz Powerbook.

The biggest decision is get the Superdrive or not.

After reading some of the issues that the iMac Superdrive has (loud, intermitent R/W, etc), I'm wondering if the Superdrive in the PB will be the same. Also, it is a much smaller form factor in a portable environment.



Any comments on the quality and reliability of the Superdrive put in the new Powerbook?

    I didn't think any superdrive powerbooks had shipped yet. This is the first time any company has used the slot-loading superdrive, so my guess is that no one will know about noise, etc. issues until they begin to ship.
