powerbook screen conversion

so I've got an old wallstreet that definitly not in condition to be sold and it's got a nice screen on it, does anybody out there know or a product that I could make it useful on another computer? I'm not necessarily up for a huge technical challenge but if there was a "realitively simple" way to do it, that would be great, definitely cheaper than buying new as well. Thanks for any suggestions.

If the computer itself is non-functional and you want to just use the screen as an LCD monitor, that is harder than you might expect. You should really ask/look around the forums on Applefritter.com -- if anyone would know about these things they would.

thanks for the tips, guys (or gals). I think the screen is to valuable to use "just" a picture frame. But it is a good Idea, I have some friends who've done that, they used an old dell though, I don't think I could do that to a mac. I'll take a look at applefritter.

    have a great day,
