Establish a network connection to your old machine. Launch MacOS X Mail on your new machine. Go to
File > Import Mailboxes...
.

Copy the "Mail" folder from the old computer to the new one.
It is located in the Library folder within your home directory.

Make sure you aren't running Mail on either computer when you do this, however.

Or drag the folders (from On My Mac) from the old machine to the Desktop (this will create mbox files). Transfer the mbox files to the new machine and Import mailboxes.
This is a good way to periodically backup as well.
