Which 2.5" harddrive manufacturer would you recommend?
I'm about to plunk down some cash for a 2.5", 5400 rpm, 40 Gb, 8 Mb harddrive. I'm planning on putting it into a small generic external case for backups mostly. The price difference between the Hitachi and the Samsung one is negligable. So I figured I'd turn to the AI-braintrust for purchasing advice. Which one, if any, is better than the other and why? Basically, I only want a durable, quiet backup harddrive...
