Pre-Installed Software

I just received my new 15" PowerBook a few days ago. I noticed today that OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner are pre-installed. Not demo versions, either - the full version. Is this normal on new Macs?



If I reinstall my system at the beginning of the year, can I get these two apps off the System Restore CDs?

    Yes, they're preinstalled on Power Macs and Powerbooks. I think they should be on the software restore CDs, but I don't remember. You'd have to poke around to see if the dmg's are on them.

    they are on the restore cds.
