Major PowerBook Issue after recent Security Update

Yesterday I updated my PowerBook with security update 12-02-04. When I restarted after the update, my PowerBook will no longer get past the "Login Window starting" screen. Thus far, I tried the following fixes (none worked):

- Repaired permissions.

- Attempted to boot in safe mode. Same problem occurs.

- Booted PowerBook in FireWire target mode and re-installed security update. Did not fix the issue.

- Booted in Single User mode and renamed my Preferences and Cache folder (under my user/library) in the hopes it was a preference or cache issue. Did not fix the issue.

Under the console logs, I found this (for loginwindow)

I am afraid that I will have to re-install Panther. Can anyone help me on this?

Thank in advance.
