faint hissing noise imac 17"
My new 17" imac makes a faint noise, it almost sounds like staticnoise. That what I first thought it was but when I unplugged my speakers the sound was still there. I don't think it's the main fan on top, because when I hold my ear to it the hissing sound seems to come from lower inside the computer. And when something is moving on the screen ( ascrolling webpage for example) the hissing seems to turn in to a cricket like "tsjika tsjika tsjik" sound.
Does anybode now where this sound is comming from, and if it can be fixed. It's getting to be quit annoying after a while.
