Preferences Problem

For a while now, I've been having problems with my preferences.



When I open them, sometimes the window just doesn't appear.



Other times, the window appears, but clicking on the specific preferences doesn't result in anything but a blank pane.



What's going on?

    Delete ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache and ~/Library/Caches/System Preferences. You may as well try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist and temporarily removing 3rd-party prefpanes from ~/Library/PreferencePanes.
