wot Happened when I tried to upgrade?

I recently upgraded the RAM on a iMAC CRT (Blueberyy) and then attempted to install Panther. During to process of installation I received an error message that I would first have to update the firmware and could not continue.

After shutting down and then restarting the starting wave file initiates but no image on screen (blank). Is there a shortcut or a keystroke to open monitor?

I have even tried to put in OS9 and CTRL C on startup to no avail. Please respond to post and please PM me.

you should just hold C to start from cd.
