Viewsonic VG191 19" vs Apple 17"

Does anyone else have this monitor?

This is the 2nd one that has gone bad on me.



I bought it at Techforless.com for $657 but now the replacement they sent me is bad, only one week after use.

I'm either going to go back to CRT or maybe get Apple's display... but I wonder if I can get my rebate still since I bought my mac when they had the dual offer going...

anyway.. does anyone have the Apple 17 display??? IT seems inferior to some out there in regards to ms response time and only 350:1 contrast ratio.. thoughts?

I don't think you'll get the rebate. Apple is pretty clear on the fact that the tower and display must be on the same invoice. Suppose it couldn't hurt to try...
