CONFIRMED!! (God I've always wanted a topic that said that!)

Using advanced espionage technology (a trained mouse with a scanner attached to his tail) we have retrieved this ultra sensitive pre-release document from the Apple P.R. department.

CUPERTINO, Calif. --(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2001--Apple Computers introduced its first expansion unit for the hugely popular iPod. Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computers, introduced the internal Psycadelic expansion apparatus (iPea) at the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco today. The iPea will provide the iPod with the ability to view music visualizations on the iPod's screen similar to those viewed on Apple's iTunes music player. A pro enhancement containing dual iPeas allowing 2 independent patterns to be displayed simultaneously on the iPod's screen . The iPea is available immediately from Apple Computer with a suggested retail price of $100 for the base unit and $150 for the pro version.

So there you go folks it just doesn't get any better than, you guessed it, 2 iPeas in an iPod.

Fake. Right there. Apple would have written this release themselves. The company is Apple Computer, not Apple Computers.
