I am looking into buying a new ibook, and i wanted to get more memory else where because the memory Apple sells is extremely expensive, does anyone know how many pins the memory has in a 14" 1.33 GHz ibook has? Can you give me a few good plaves to look for memory as well?

Thanks.

Most any mac dealer will be able to tell you what the right kind of memory for the iBook is. Most internet shops will also tell you. Look at, for instance, www.otherworldcomputing.com

Apparently, to answer your question, the right kind is a low-profile 200 pin SO-DIMM chip.

i just bought 1gb from 1800memory for around 225$ no big deal to install, slipped right in, do get the small screwdrivers though. considering that a year ago they were around 400

    it's a verrry easy install try ramseeker.com
